Plea for Dana Thomas - Rev. Frost's Cousin

With sadness I announce the passing of my 7 year-old cousin Dana Thomas. Dana suffered from an asthma attack on Sunday, March 27th, 2011 and was rushed to the California Hospital of Los Angeles. It took EMS personnel over 20 minutes to restart his heart and to get him breathing on his own. After suffering from uncontrollable seizures he was placed in a induced coma and unfortunately he never regained consciousness. My family and I are left with the task to bury Dana. This as some of you may know is a heavy financial burden that we cannot carry alone. Please help us bury him with dignity by clicking on this link and giving any amount. 100% of your donation goes to his burial account. Thank you again for all of your prayers, support and compassion.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

We celebrate February 14th as a day to remember love and to show affection to those we love. This day is in the memory of a man named Saint Valentine. S. Valentine lived in 469 A.D. There where three men named Saint Valentine and all of them were martyrs for their Christians beliefs in God.

The story is told that a Roman emperor (ruler) banned soldiers from marrying in the third century. St. Valentine did not think that this was fair or right so he decided to marry the soldiers and to speak out against this very matter.

The legend is that St. Valentine was executed for his Christians belief in Jesus and he was put to death. Before he died he left a farewell note for a love one that said, “From Your Valentine”.

Now on this day people send gifts to people they love to express their love for each other. Some people send flowers and others candy or greeting cards.

Jesus’ wants to be your Valentine

The Bible speaks about how God sent us a Valentine card too. The bible says that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that if we believe in Him we will not perish but have everlasting life. I John 4:8 say’s, “God is Love.” Share his love with everyone you know.
